Different forest areas require different management actions ranging from intensive thinning and prescribed burning, to annual species planting and restoration.
The Falls Pointe Land Owners Association was founded in 1994 by Lee and Elizabeth Turner.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Over 145 acres within Falls Point have been set aside as part of the USFS Forest Ag Program, managed as part of a reforestation and long therm management plan.
The Forestry Management Program is being jointly implemented in this area by the USFS, Falls Pointe, LLC, and resident volunteers.
